XBLA Treasure! - Doritos Crash Course

If you're anything like me, you will always love a bargain. I'm going to tell you about an awesome arcade game available on the Xbox Live Marketplace that everyone should download.

'Doritos Crash Course' was released onto the XBLA on December 8th, 2010 for the amazing price of....FREE!!

Players must get their Xbox 360 avatars through increasingly difficult obstacle courses. The game consists of three different locales (USA, Europe, and Japan), each with five levels. In each locale, the obstacles get harder to avoid and time taken to complete each course becomes higher. Common obstacles include vertical pistons, swinging hammers, trampolines, swinging ropes, metal climbing chains, conveyor belts of varying speed and direction, collapsing floors, levitation platforms, and water balloons.

If you've ever watched the TV gameshow "Total Wipeout", and liked it then you're bound to enjoy this game.
Playing single player is great, mainly because its a pick up and play type game, which can be played for 5 minutes or 5 hours. The game also connects to Xbox Live to track all your friend's best scores so you can try to best them.

However, the local multiplayer option that splits in several smaller screens isn't that good, mainly because the individual screens are split so small that it becomes awkward to see properly.
The other multiplayer option is to play against others via Xbox Live, which I haven't attempted to play, not just because I currently only have a Silver membership, but because online play is usually tarnished with either bad connections or quitters.

As of the end of 2010 this game had actually been downloaded over 1.4 million times, however I rarely see this game listed on my friends 'played games' when comparing achievements.
Everyone should download it, not just because it's free. but because it's awesome!
If you do download it, or have played it, then let me know what you thought about it.

Happy gaming guys!
