Spider-Man to make 'Avengers' cameo?
There are two massive Marvel movies coming out this summer - Avengers through Marvel/Disney, and The Amazing Spider-Man coming through Sony.  With the films coming through different distributors, there has never been much hope of cross-overs or tie-ins, as with the Avengers-based films, but a shred of hope has come to light in the last couple of days.Jenny Agutta (in Avengers as 'Female Counsel Member') recently did an interview with The Radio Times in which she stated:
“I’m sworn to secrecy! I wasn’t allowed a script until I got there, and when I did I felt like a complete child being on big sets and a huge parking lot full of Winnebagos.”
With The Radio Times later saying:
She does let slip that two of these housed Spider-Man and Iron Man; we suspect Agutter won’t able to avoid sci-fi conventions for much longer'
Obviously there is the potential that one of Jenny Agutta or The Radio Times made a mistake somewhere along the line, but with Sony and Disney striking a deal back in November about merchandising rights, the two companies could be willing to strike up a mutually beneficial deal with the films as well.

Avengers is out May 4th and The Amazing Spider-Man is out July 3rd

'Nintendo Network' to rival PSN and Xbox Live
The online capabilities of Nintendo consoles have been patchy at best, with friend-codes and a lack of an all-encompassing system leading to general indifference with gamers.  The 3DS is making attempts to change this, and is much more capable online than its predecessors, but images and blog entries are suggesting that Nintendo aim to take this even further.
There are rumours that the Wii U and 3DS will use the same online network - the Nintendo Network - which will be a website that handles all things relating to your account, presumably including friendlists, DLC and maybe some variety of achievement system.
Nintendo pride themselves at being on the cutting edge of technologies, but online integration has been a sore point for them while Microsoft and Sony have both flourished in this area - maybe 2012 will be the year that Nintendo catch up?

Star Wars Uncut finished
All the way back in 2009, a group of Star Wars fans began what is probably the the biggest-scale, most-epic fan made project the world has seen - Start Wars Uncut.  The concept was that thousands of people would take 15-second segments of Star Wars: A New Hope and remake them in whatever way they saw fit, and submitting them the the catalogers at Star Wars Uncut, who then edited all the parts together.  When I heard about this project, probably around 2010, i thought it was an incredible idea, but had no idea whether it would ever be finished; but last Friday, the finished video was uploaded to various video-hosting sites, and it free to be watched, in all it's 2-hour glory.

Yep, it's the whole thing!
Obviously some parts are much better than others, but every piece (I assume, I haven't gotten around to watching it yet) has just as much right to be there, and show just how much people care about this film.
So watch it now, or bookmark it for later, because I promise it will be worth it.
