MassEffect 3 multiplayer trailer shows off Race/Class combinations
I'm not big on multiplayer games, I care much more about seeing a single player experience unfold before me than playing the same dozen maps over and over again on competitive shooters (local mutliplayer obviously gets a bye here); but the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer has got me quite excited.  It apparently ties into the main storyline, and can affect how well things go for your Sheppard in the singleplayer campaign.
A trailer has just been released showing off some of the things you will be doing in the multiplayer - it looks to be a co-op, objective-based multiplayer, which is fine by me!  It also shows different combinations of races and classes that you can potentially play as, so there will be at least a semblance of customisation.  But enough talk, watch it for yourselves!
Mass Effect 3 is out March 6th in North America, and March 9th in Europe

Green Arrow TV pilot cast breakdown revealed
American TV network The CW's Superman series Smallville recently came to an end after a pretty successful 10 seasons; and CW are looking into adapting another DC Comics character into a TV series - The Green Arrow.
The show will be called 'Arrow' and a pilot is currently in the works, looking at a September 2012 premiere should it be picked up.  A recent breakdown from TheTVAddict tells of the characters that will be coming to the show, and notably details that this incarnation will not have anything to do with the appearances of Oliver Queen on Smallville.
Characters confirmed so far are as follows: Oliver Queen (Green Arrow); Dinah 'Laurel' Lance (Black Canary); Tommy Merlyn; John Diggle (potentially a reference to comic writer Andy Diggle); and Moira and Thea Queen, Green Arrow's mother and sister respectively.
I always regretted not getting into Smallville, as it was meant to be decent enough and there are not nearly enough superheroes on live-action TV, so I will definitely be giving this program a shot if it does come to our TV screens.

Shameless plug for Trollish Delver's new RPG system
Our good friend Scott Malthouse over at Trollish Delver today released his USR (Unbelievably Simple Role-playing) RPG system through his Trollish Delver Games label.  It is a gaming template that can be applied to any role-playing setting you can imagine yourself playing - be it Wild West, Superhero, Space Warriors, Steam Punk or good old-fashioned High Fantasy, this system can deliver it!
If you are looking for a more flexible game, or are really into your role-playing, this is a great system for pick-up and play gamers, as it only takes a quick 10-15 minute read and you can be on your way.  And the best part?  It's free!
You can read/download it over at Lulu.com, and Scott has said that he intends to release adventures and supplements based on this system in the coming months, so keep an eye out for those!
Shameless plug over =)
