Another Marvel movie trailer! Amazing Spider-Man!
Hot on the heels of the Avengers' Superbowl trailer, Sony have released the second Amazing Spider-Man trailer - and it's looking kinda okay! See for yourselves:
Everyone was really worried that this would be some slap-dash money-maker for Sony, that they're only making so the Spider-Man movie rights don't go back to Marvel/Disney....well, that's probably still the case, but we got X-Men: First Class for those same reasons, and that was a great film!
And this looks like it could be pretty good too - I like the apparent emphasis on science, and the fact that the New York police are treating Spider-Man as a menace, like he is in much of the comics.
With this film looking better the more I see of it, my top 3 superhero movies of 2012 might just be in a different order to what I was anticipating this time last year...

Notch offers to fund Psychonauts sequel
If you ever needed more proof as to how much of a cool guy Markus 'Notch' Persson (Minecraft creator and Mojang founder) is, then look no further!
After he read an article on Rock Paper Shotgun, about Tim Schafer and Double Fine studios wanting to make a Psychonauts sequel, but no publisher being up for it, Notch has sent his voice around the internet (Via Twitter), declaring his wish to make Psychonauts 2 a reality!
There is no official word just yet on whether this is going to happen, but the internet is alight with excitement at the mere prospect!  Knowing the open-ness of Notch with such matters, I'm sure it won't be long before we find out one way or the other!

Dragon Age : Redemption coming out on DVD
Dragon Age: Redemption is a webseries helmed by geek icon Felicia Day, it consists of six episodes, currently hosted on youtube, and it tells a story that runs parallel to the Dragon Age II DLC Mark of the Assassin, in which Felicia appeared.
The DVD comes out on Valentines Day, and features (as an incentive to those wondering why we'd pay for something we can get for free on Youtube) behind-the-scenes extras such as deleted scenes, a commentary track and blooper reels.
I only watched the first couple of episodes, but I remember thinking it was quite good - it reminded me of Legend of the Seeker,  if anyone watched that show - and clocking in at around an hour in the six episodes, you've got plenty to watch for your money.
Make a geek happy this Valentine's Day, and give them a Felicia Day DVD =)
