Fable:Heroes unveiled by Lionhead studios
The mysterious 'red button' countdown has ended over at Lionhead.com to reveal a new look website and the announcement of Fable:Heroes - a four-player co-op game for the XBLA.
First impressions lead me to believe this is what you'd get is you crossed Little Big Planet with Castle Crashers - adorable patchwork aesthetic mixed with hack-and-slash combat featuring melee, ranged and magic attacks - and looks like it could be a lot of fun, as the trailer shows:
Heroes is set to tie into Fable: The Journey, coming out September 4, and will let players unlock rewards and provide money and items for use in the latter game.
No release date has been mentioned as yet, but as with other Fable tie-in games (such as the Kingmaker and Coin Golf games) you should probably expect to see Heroes released a couple of months before The Journey.

Assassin's Creed 3 trailer & Wii U version confirmation
Assassin's Creed 3 was last week confirmed to be taking place during the American Revolution, and today Ubisoft gave a first glimpse at what we can expect the game to look like in the trailer below.
The trailer goes someway to allaying fears that this installment would be missing be iconic Parkour mechanics that made the series famous - suggestions were that the setting would not provide many options for running and jumping across rooftops - by showing the, still unnamed, protagonist free-running in the treetops which, while not the same, is a reasonable compromise if there will not be many 'urban' environments.
While Nintendo said at last year's E3 that the Wii U would have the Assassin's Creed series in its lineup, it has only been confirmed today that this entry in the series will definitely be coming the Nintendo's new console, though whether the Wii U will be released in time for the October 31st release date of the other versions of Assassin's Creed 3 remains to be seen.

Mass Effect 3 already 'cracked' for Xbox 360 and PC

The game isn't out until tomorrow (in the US, we in the U.K. must wait until Friday) but the inevitable has already occurred - pirate copies of Mass Effect 3 are already available on the internet.
It has been confirmed that over the weekend, versions of the final cut of the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game have been making their way to torrent sites - some are also claiming the Playstation 3 version has also been cracked.
Strangely, the PC version is still currently unplayable, despite the crack, due to the requisite install/play through EA's Origin platform but, if this is even the case, I'm sure it won't be long before this condition is also removed.
The game is out worldwide this week, so those moral-minded of you won't have long to wait before getting your hands on legal copies of the game, though this does make you think how desperate some people must be to play the game that they're willing to crap on the developers who have brought them this incredible series of games...
